This book has been compiled to include assays of specified drugs using pharmacopoeial and non-pharmacopoeial procedures, synthesis of heterocyclic rings and their derivatives, synthesis of drugs and drug intermediates etc. A vast literature search have been done while writing synthetic procedures of many of the molecules. As a special feature, in synthetic experiments, a table of calculation is also provided so that learners can easily understand the molar ratio of reactants while performing a synthetic reaction.
