Can you unravel the tattoo murder's mystery? Tokyo, 1947. Kinue Nomura displays her full-body snake tattoo to thunderous applause at the first Edo Tattoo Society gathering after the war. She is gone a few days later. Her home's locked bathroom turns out to be the scene of a mutilated corpse, but the much-desired body art is nowhere to be seen. In an effort to solve the grisly murder, Kinue's shocked lover teams up with Kyosuke Kamizu, a young investigator, but soon after, more similar killings occur. Is someone's desire for tattooed skin causing them to commit murder, and if so, what can be done to stop them?
